Plantation drive held at Handwara
KUPWARA, MARCH 15: Tehsil Administration Handwara in collaboration with Floriculture department today organized a plantation drive at Children Park Handwara which was kick-started by Tehsildar Handwara, Zeeshan Khan by planting chinar saplings.
The Plantation drive was held under the theme of saving chinar Trees.
It was informed that the Plantation drive was carried out in the entire valley and a set target of 7000 chinar saplings had to be achieved.
On the occasion, the Tehsildar appealed the people to plant more and more trees in their surroundings for a healthy and clean environment.
